Internal Finance Manager

We’re actively looking for an organised, proactive Internal Finance Manager to lead our internal operations team and oversee the financial management of our group of companies. This role is central to maintaining our high standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and reporting.

Salary: £38k – £60k

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and file statutory accounts for three companies under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105

  • Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns

  • Manage monthly payroll processing and associated reporting

  • Produce accurate financial reports for the board, including performance analysis and key insights

  • Consolidate financial and operational data across the group to support decision-making

  • Act as the firm’s AML Compliance Officer, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory standards

  • Drive continuous improvement across internal systems, processes, and reporting

  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth communication between internal and client-facing teams

About you

  • You’re a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with experience managing internal finance functions

  • You have a strong understanding of FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 standards

  • You’re confident in preparing VAT returns, managing payroll, and presenting data to senior leadership

  • You’re detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy finding better ways of doing things
