We’re hiring a Client Implementation Accountant to assist with both accounting teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives with client contact, is independent and does not want to manage a team of people.

You will report to the two team senior managers as well as working with the internal team to ensure a smooth new client journey.

This is an exciting and new role for the business. As our client type has changed over recent years we now have fewer, larger clients. The purpose of this role is to ensure an exceptional start to their journey with striveX. 

Once the client has been onboarded from an administrative standpoint the client will then need their finances brought up to date, management information implemented and to be handed over to the team for ongoing work.

We have identified that most new clients require additional support to help with backdated work, registrations, creating bespoke chart of accounts, streamlining financial processes and creating management info that serves their specific requirements.

This role is being created to free up the managers within the teams so that they can focus on running the service lines whilst the new clients are prioritised when they need it most.

It covers a wide variety of services and requires a good understanding of business in general.

Services provided by the team

• Management Accounts – Cashflow, budgets, KPIs etc
• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• Payroll and pension
• CIS returns
• Software setup and consultancy
• Tax registrations and deregistrations
• Companies house updates

The opportunity

You will speak with new clients directly, when they need urgent support the most and are needing reassurance that they made the right decision to move. Your work will be spot checked but not reviewed on a regular basis. This is a role for someone who is competent and works independently.

You will be responsible for:

• Liaising with exiting accountant and the client’s new striveX accountant
• Catching up with any backdated work such as bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Agreeing with the client how they want their striveX service to support them
• Considering and implementing new processes into the client’s business
• Consulting with the client on what should be included in their management accounts and creating efficiencies in the software to support this before handing over to the striveX team

This is a senior role for a person who enjoys autonomy, a constantly changing mix of clients and someone who has exceptional interpersonal skills.

What we are looking for

Essential:

• AAT qualified, ideally ACA / ACCA qualified
• 4+ years’ practice experience
• Proven experience working independently
• Ability to manage workflow, prioritisation and capacity

You will not be suitable if:

• You have not had prior practice experience
• You want to manage a team of individuals
• You are not confident liaising with clients
• You struggle with change
• You are not looking for a full time role
• You would be continuing another finance role alongside this position

Salary

£41,000–£52,000 depending on support required by the team.
